Please join us for an exciting new type of program -- our first ever program featuring ADSW Members' and friends’ favorite photos.

We all have our favorite Art Deco era buildings, furniture, cars, collectibles and clothes. Many of us have traveled to far off places or made pilgrimages to see great Art Deco across the country or around the world. This is your opportunity to share photos of your favorites with your Art Deco Society friends!

Here are some highlights of pictures folks have submitted so far:

·         Karen Burditt’s French and American Art Pottery Collection

·         Steve Knight’s travel to antique car museums and exhibits in North Carolina and Michigan

·         Kathleen Cassedy’s pre-Congress trips to Cincinnati and Detroit

·         Kim Trubenbacher’s gorgeous French Deco light fixtures

·         Some of David Lefever’s posters and magazine graphics

Here's how it works:

  • Register for the Event using the link below.
  • Submit your photos to
    • Images should be in jpeg form, no more than 1Mb each
    • You can send us up to 12 pictures (of your favorite buildings, cars, collectibles, etc. from your travels or your own personal collections)
    • Pictures should be of good resolution and quality
    • Deadline for submissions -- Midnight Saturday, February 17th
  • During the program, submitters will talk about each of their pictures.
  • To manage time constraints, ADSW Board members will evaluate the entries and select the individual photos to be included in the slide show
    • ADSW will arrange the selected photos into a slide show for the program
    • ADSW will notify members whether their photos have been selected for presentation
    • ADSW will follow up with presenters prior to the program to let them know when during the evening they will get to talk about their photos and in what order their photos will be presented.
  • ADSW will award a prize for the best photo submitted.

"...The Deco That I Love" is loosely based on the Pecha Kucha art of concise presentations developed in Japan in 2003.  It has been wildly successful in gatherings of artists, architects and friends across the world.

The program will be preceded by a reception with appetizers and nonalcoholic beverages. Open to members and nonmembers.
