How To Preserve And Repair Your Favorite Treasures
- June 8, 2008, 2-5 PM
Elinor Coleman's Vintage Mirage, 210 North Lee Street, Alexandria, Virginia Elinor Coleman will demonstrate the basics of preservation and repair for an array of items such as vintage clothing and jewelry. In addition, Elinor will discuss reasons and situations for taking the item to an expert restorer.
Ramblin' Round Radio Row

Charles Sumner School, 1201 Seventeenth St., NW, Washington, DC See five Vitaphone shorts from their Ramblin' Round Radio Row series, which feature a variety of musicians, singers, and novelty acts. The program will conclude with an encore presentation of vintage shorts with Ina Ray Hutton and Her Melodears.

2008 Northern Virginia Antiques and Modernism Show and Sale

Thomas Jefferson Center, 3501 South 2nd Street, Arlington, Virginia
Combining more than 100 general antiques dealers with an estimated 50 dealers of Art Deco and Mid-Century Modern, this show combines ADSW's 25-year sponsorship of the Exposition of the Decorative Arts with the Kiwanis Club of Arlington's 21-year sponsorship of the Northern Virginia Antique Show & Sale.
All events are in Washington, D. C., unless another city is mentioned.
