Freedom Swings Veterans Day Dance

Join ADSW, gottaswing.com, ThingsToDoDC, and the Junior Woman's Club of Chevy Chase at Freedom Swings, a salute to America's veterans featuring the Tuxedo Park Quintet

To get things rolling, Tom and Debra, the "Deans of DC Swing Dance", will teach an introductory lesson from 8:30 to 9:00 PM.  Tom and Debra teach over 4,000 people a year and have won numerous state, national and international dance championships. The Tuxedo Park Orchestra will play from 9:00 to midnight.

Freedom Swings will be held at the 1930s era clubhouse of the Woman's Club of Chevy Chase near the intersection of East-West Highway and Connecticut Avenue.  A cash bar will be available.

Vintage, military, or formal dress is suggested. See our hints on what to wear prepared for last year's Stars & Stripes Ball.

At the Door: $25

Volunteer

We need volunteers to help decorate the ballroom. Volunteers will receive free admission. Contact Karyn Jarboe at kjarboe@adsw.org to volunteer.
