Over 100 Art Deco structures, including government and commercial buildings, apartment houses, residences, and bridges, will be seen and discussed in D.C., Virginia, and Maryland. Selected examples to be visited and toured include Historic Terminal A of National Airport, 1100 New York Avenue (preserving the Greyhound Bus Terminal) and the Greenbelt Community Center (formerly Greenbelt Center School). A building list will be provided, along with suggestions for further reading and exploring. Light refreshments will be served.
