Dance the night away as the Art Deco Society Of Washington celebrates the adaptive use restoration of Historic Terminal A by the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority.
Ball Night
Enjoy the Big Band classics performed by Washington's own
Doc Scantlin and his Imperial
Palms Orchestra. Doc will bring his full entourage to entertain
us.
Munch on the hors d'oeuvres and dessert. Quench your thirst at our cash bar.
Come early for a lecture and tour of the restored terminal led by Daniel Feil, FAI, Airports Authority Terminal Design Project Architect. Sorry, the tour is sold out.
Black tie or white tie: Deco and Vintage attire is encouraged. Zoot suits and vintage avaition uniforms welcome.
Take Metro to the Ball, a short walk from the Ronald Reagan National Airport station on the Blue and Yellow lines. Metro will be open until 1 a.m. (Check with Metro for latest departure times to your destination.) Plenty of parking is available.
