We don't want to remind you about that lovely ice storm last month, but we
do want to you come and see some fabulous musical shorts. So, we're
repeating our February 12 program, which many members missed due to the ice
storm that day.

Donation to ADSW's Vitaphone preservation fund recommended
ADSW will present a series of Vitaphone musical shorts from the 1920s and
1930s featuring some of the premier black entertainers of the era. Among the
entertainers to be seen in these rarely-screened shorts will be:
Billie Holliday
Small's Paradise Entertainers
Claude Hopkins and His Orchestra
The Nicholas Brothers
Cab Callaway
Adelaide Hall
Don Redman and His Orchestra
Louis Armstrong
Fredi Washington
Jimmy Lunceford and His Orchestra
A Paramount short featuring Washington's own Duke Ellington will also be
included.
