Former ADSW President Frances Scott died Saturday, March 3, 2007, at the
home of her son Courtney. She had cancer.
In addition to serving as ADSW President for several years in the late
1990s, Frances served in a number of other Board positions, including
Programs Chair. She was also a regular volunteer at the Expo until
failing health limited her participation. In 1999, Frances was ADSW’s
representative to the 5th World Congress on Art Deco in Napier, New Zealand.
Services for Frances will be held at the National Memorial Park, 7400
Lee Highway, Falls Church, Virginia on March 17, 2007. Visitation will
be from Noon to 1 PM with services to follow at 1:30 PM.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations in Frances’
memory be made to the American Cancer Society.
Cards to the Scott family can be sent to Courtney Scott, 4146 Point
Hollow Lane, Fairfax, Virginia 22033-3012.
ADSW invites you to share your memories of Frances. Send your thoughts,
