We have just learned that Paul Greenhalgh, recently appointed Corcoran's
new Director/ President Designate, will a lecture/preview on Modernism:
Designing a New World, 1914-1939, an exhibit opening at the Corcoran
Gallery of Art in March 2007. The exhibit originated at the Victoria and
Albert Museum in London. They describe the exhibit as "the first to
explore Modernism in the designed world from a truly international
perspective and in terms of all the arts.
