10th Annual Art Deco Bus Tour
Washington's Wonderful Art Deco Architecture

Sunday, March 19, 2006
12:30 - 5:30 PM

Departing from the Judiciary Square Metro Station
across from the National Building Museum
F Street between 4th& 5th Streets, NW

See over 100 Art Deco structures in the Washington, DC area, including 
government and commercial buildings, apartment houses, residences, and 
bridges. Selected examples to be visited and toured include Historic 
Terminal A of National Airport, 1100 New York Avenue (preserving the 
Greyhound Bus Terminal), the AFI Silver Theatre, and the Greenbelt 
Community Center (formerly Greenbelt Center School). A building list 
will be provided, along with suggestions for further reading and exploring.

The tour will be led by Linda Lyons, architectural historian and 
Education Chair of ADSW.
