Black and White Ball: An Elegant Charity Gala
Saturday, January 29, 2005, 8:30 PM to Midnight
Advance tickets: $20; At the door: $25
Woman's Club of Chevy Chase
7931 Connecticut Avenue, Chevy Chase, Maryland
Join the Art Deco Society of Washington, gottaswing.com, and the Junior
Woman's Club of Chevy Chase at the Black and White Ball, an elegant charity
gala. Net proceeds will benefit local charities.
To get things rolling, Tom and Debra, the "Deans of DC Swing Dance," will
teach an introductory lesson from 8:30 to 9:00 PM. The SingCo Rhythm
Orchestra will play from 9:00 to midnight. The Junior Woman's Club will
present its annual Chevy Chase Community Achievement Award to Congressman
Chris Van Hollen.
Light refreshments and a cash bar will be available. Black and white
formal or vintage attire is suggested.
